Return Policy
*** (Julie) If for any reason you need or wish to return a cat you adopted from us, you can do so within one full week for at refund of the of the adoption fee.
After that, be it months or years later, if you need to give up your DS-Kitty Rescue kitty for any reason, we require that you must return the kitty back to DS-Kitty Rescue SCV. We will not be able to refund the adoption fee but we will place the kitty in a new home.
This policy is in place because we don't ever want our kitties to end up on the streets or at a city shelter ever again.
The Adoption Process
To help ensure that we place our kitties in loving, responsible, committed homes, we have a screening process before you can adopt a pet from DS-Kitty Rescue. We reserve the right to turn down potential adopters as we deem necessary.
Step 1: Complete the Adoption Questionnaire. You can fill out and submit the questionnaire online or you can download, print, and email it back to us.
Step 2: Get to Know Your Kitty by scheduling a Meet and Greet
Step 3: A home visit or a home delivery of the kitty may also be required as part of the adoption process.
